The Chinese company Tank has presented an updated version of the hybrid SUV 500 Hi4-T. The manufacturer updated the design of the car, used an improved all-wheel drive system, increased power and at the same time reduced fuel consumption.
The updated Tank 500 received a 2.0-liter E20NB Miller engine and an intelligent EMOD all-wheel drive system with a power of 185 kW and a torque of up to 380 Nm. Paired with an electric motor, the total power reaches 300 kilowatts with a peak torque of 750 Nm. The built-in battery with a capacity of 37.1 kWh provides a range of up to 110 kilometers. Fuel consumption per 100 kilometers in WLTC mode is 2.06 liters, and in running order – 8.8 liters.
The EMOD intelligent all-wheel drive system is able to adapt to driver behavior and the road situation by analyzing data in real time. In off-road conditions, the torque gain in 4L mode has been increased from 2.46 to 3.06 times.
Tank 500 Hi4-T software has been updated to version 1.4 with support for HUAWEI HiCar, ICCOA and DLNA.
The price of a car in China starts from 335,000 yuan, which is equivalent to 46.5 thousand dollars.
