Noctua has released an updated version of its proprietary cooler NH-D12L with the chromax.black prefix. In addition to its black color, the “tower” differs from the original model in its reduced height, making it easy to fit even in a compact case.
The NH-D12L chromax.black is equipped with one 120mm NF-A12x25 fan with a maximum noise level of 22.6 dBA and a pair of aluminum radiators connected by five heat pipes. The cooler is compatible with AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets, as well as Intel LGA 1700 and LGA 1851 (for future Arrow Lake processors).
The new product comes complete with a screwdriver, NH-T1 thermal paste and a four-pin adapter for the fan. The latter is secured with a bracket, so it can be removed or installed without tools.
The price of Noctua NH-D12L chromax.black on the US market is $99.
