Soon after the release of Overwatch in 2016, many companies got into the habit of creating a competitor to the Blizzard Entertainment shooter. And although the fashion has long passed, no one told the Chinese developers about it.
NetEase and Marvel Games have announced the (super)hero action game Marvel Rivals. This is a free-to-play 6-on-6 multiplayer PvP action game starring comic book stars. One of the key differences in the action movie will be special joint abilities – for example, the Hulk will be able to charge Iron Man with gamma energy so that he deals more damage to enemies.
Rivals alpha testing is scheduled for May 2024. Those who wish to participate will be able to try on the roles of 12 characters, including Spider-Man, Magneto, and Black Panther. There is no exact release date for the game, as well as news about the console version.
