The “budget” version of the Galaxy Z Fold6 will be cheaper than expected
The GSMArena portal, citing Korean sources, reported new details about the unconfirmed special version of the folding smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6. It will be cheaper than the base model due to some hardware differences – in particular, it is credited with a set of cameras from the Galaxy Z Fold5. Another insider report clarified the possible price of the gadget.
The device is expected to cost from $799 – more than half the price of the Galaxy Z Fold5 at launch. The price of the standard version of the Galaxy Z Fold6 has not yet been revealed.
Sony hinted at the release of a new series of Xperia 3 smartphones
Sony has published a mysterious teaser with the number 3, which does not directly announce the release of any gadgets. According to specialized publications, the inscription can be interpreted as meaning that in March (the third month of the year) the company will reveal three secrets.
Insiders also suggest that the image may be a hint at the announcement of the Xperia 3 series of smartphones. There is no technical information about the possible new products yet – but if we assume their premiere, they should occupy the segment between the flagship Xperia 1 and the more affordable Xperia 5.
HMD may re-release another Nokia “push-button”
On March 18, the company published a post on its blog on social network X with a schematic image of a phone next to a balloon and the caption “It’s my birthday.” In the comments to the post, a user under the nickname NokiaFanTH1 suggested that we are talking about the Nokia 3210 model, which was released on March 18, 1999.
It is possible that the company will re-release the once popular push-button phone, equipping it with a 4G modem in the spirit of previous Nokia “remakes”. However, there is no official information on this matter yet.
Xiaomi 15 will be a relatively compact smartphone
Insider Digital Chat Station reported that Xiaomi 15 will have a display of the same size as the Xiaomi 13/14 models. The diagonal of their screens is 6.36 inches – a gadget with a panel of this size is today considered almost compact. The source did not provide any other details.
The ITHome portal attributes the future flagship to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, a Goodix fingerprint scanner and a “large” battery without specifying the capacity. Mass production of the future new product should begin in September 2024.
