HUAWEI has announced the release of the FreeLace Pro 2 Bluetooth headset to the international market. The new product is equipped with a neckband and special attachments for secure fixation in the ears, and boasts both high-quality sound and an impressive operating time on a single battery charge.
The headset is equipped with 10.8 mm dynamic drivers with a frequency response of 15 Hz to 40 kHz. The new product has passed Hi-Res certification and supports SBC, AAC, L2HC and LDAC codecs. To pair with the signal source, the Bluetooth 5.3 wireless communication module is used.
The neckband houses a remote control with volume control buttons, and the headphones themselves have touch panels with additional functions. For example, a single touch pauses and plays audio again, a double touch turns on the next track, and a triple touch turns on the previous one. Holding the button for 2 seconds initiates Bluetooth pairing or rejects an incoming call.
The intelligent active noise reduction system ANC 2.0 based on four built-in microphones can operate in three modes with varying degrees of “aggression”. Another feature of the accessory is protection against dust and water according to the IP55 standard.
A 150 mAh battery is responsible for the autonomy of the headphones. According to the manufacturer, one charge provides up to 25 hours of operation of the headphones without ANC, and it will take about 60 minutes to fully restore energy through the USB Type-C port.
The headset can also connect to select HUAWEI smartphones via cable for instant synchronization and charging from their batteries.
HUAWEI FreeLace Pro 2 wireless headphones are available in black and green body colors. Their price for the international market will be announced later.
