Designers have developed interchangeable “faces” for smartphone cameras

Must Read

Yanko Design magazine presented the concept of an unusual accessory that can highlight the individuality of a smartphone and its owner. It is designed as an addition to the case that can easily change the design of the device in a matter of seconds.

The accessory is a case with interchangeable covers resembling various emojis. They are attached with magnets, turning smartphone camera lenses into “eyes.” Thus, with the help of various overlay panels, the user can give his gadget a unique appearance or share his mood with others. For now, this is just a concept that accessory manufacturers may implement in the future.

The designers took into account that not all smartphones are equipped with two horizontally positioned camera lenses. In this case, they suggest showing a little creativity: for example, creating a panel with asymmetrical “eyes” or with more pronounced “facial expressions” into which all the modules will fit.
