The Chinese company Asuizo announced on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform an unusual device called CAZE – a card reader for content creators, the case of which can accommodate up to 20 drives and other accessories. The developers talked about the advantages of their gadget and named its technical characteristics.
The Asuizo CAZE case dimensions are 9.5 x 7.8 x 2.5 cm, weight – 152 grams. Inside you can store four SD memory cards, 12 microSD and four nano-SIM. In addition, the design provides slots for a USB adapter and a key for the SIM slot of modern smartphones.
In addition, the device has a USB Type-A port and two active built-in card reader slots (SD and microSD) with connection to a PC via a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C cable. The maximum operating speed is 224 MB/s for writing and 280 MB/s for reading.
The CAZE case is made of aluminum and plastic, the manufacturer claims protection against drops and moisture. Another feature of the accessory is the presence of memory card full indicators located in the upper slots.
The price of Asuizo CAZE at the crowdfunding stage is $49, the first deliveries are scheduled for June 2024.
