Blizzard Entertainment has announced a major patch for Diablo IV, designed to rework many aspects of the game. The release of the update is getting closer, and the developers have finally decided to share its details.
With the release of the fourth season, Diablo IV will be reworking its item system. There will be less loot, but its quality will increase, and at high levels of worlds, only valuable items will begin to drop without the usual junk. In addition, players will have the opportunity to trade legendary and unique items, although they will not be able to modify them, otherwise they will be linked to their account.
Equipment and legendary aspects in the Code of Power can be further upgraded. In addition, items can be tempered by adding unique affixes. To do this, you will have to find a special manual with the properties of the affix.
The affixes themselves will also change. Their number on legendary items will be reduced to three, and on rare items – to two. The buffs themselves will be enhanced. Additional bonuses, as well as new enhanced affixes, can be installed using hardening. In addition, the developers will balance classes, change the mechanics of Hell’s Onslaught and add a new boss, Andariel.
Season 4 testing is scheduled for April 2-9 on PC via Battle.net. The update will be released on the main servers on May 14, when the third season will end.
