ASUS has expanded its line of gaming peripherals ROG Strix with two monitors – XG27UCS and XG27ACS. Both new products have a 27-inch IPS screen, support for useful technologies to optimize the gaming experience, as well as an original design with a slot for a smartphone in the stand.
The 4K model XG27UCS supports a 160Hz refresh rate, while the more affordable XG27ACS has a 1440p @ 180Hz panel. The response time for both models is 1 ms, DCI-P3 color gamut coverage is 97%. The new products support NVIDIA G-SYNC, Low Motion Blur Sync and HDR technologies.
There are also proprietary AI technologies: GamePlus analyzes the scene in real time and adjusts the crosshair as needed, and Dynamic Shadow Boost is responsible for increasing the brightness of dark areas without overexposure.
The set of interfaces for the new products includes DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C connectors with DP Alt mode. In addition, both models are equipped with stands with holders for a smartphone, which can be charged using a USB port.
The ASUS ROG Strix XG27UCS model is priced by the manufacturer at $499, and the XG27ACS will cost $269.
