As Twitter (aka X) has demonstrated so well, the community loves to share information about anything. Inspired by “community notes”, Sony decided to take advantage of people’s desire to leave each other tips.
In the PlayStation Blog, the company promised to improve Game Help, one of the most interesting features of the PlayStation 5. The essence of the upgrade is simple: gamers will be able to leave various video tips for each other – previously, we recall, this could only be done by game developers themselves. After the update, a special item will appear in the settings that will activate recording after performing a particular action. The resulting video will appear in the public domain after careful checking by moderators. You can refuse to participate in the program, but all already published tips will be deleted in this case.
Sony plans to launch Community Game Help by the end of 2024. Access to such tips will be open to everyone, not just PlayStation Plus subscribers. It is worth noting that the function will not be available in all titles, but only in those specifically approved by the publisher.
