Nepal Election Result 2022: Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has won the parliamentary elections for the seventh consecutive time. He won from Dadeldhura constituency in far western Nepal with a huge margin of votes. Deuba, 77, has never lost a parliamentary election in his political career spanning five decades. This time again he has maintained his old record by winning. This can be gauged from his popularity among the public.
Nepala Congress leader and sitting Prime Minister Deuba got a total of 25,534 votes, while his nearest rival and independent candidate Sagar Dhakal (31) got 1,302 votes, according to the election results. Thus Deuba won with a huge margin. Deuba’s challenger Dhakal, on the other hand, is a young engineer who had a verbal spat with Deuba five years ago during a public discussion on the ‘Shared Question’ program of ‘BBC’ (British Broadcasting Corporation). He then decided to challenge Deuba saying that now youth should enter politics and seniors like Deuba should rest.

Deuba has good relations with India
Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has good relations with India. At present, his party Nepali Congress is leading in Nepal elections. If he wins the election and then becomes the prime minister, it will be good for India as well. At the same time, the Communist Party of Nepal led by former PM KP Oli is trailing in the elections. KP Oli is a supporter of China and he works at the behest of China. KP Oli had spewed a lot of venom against India when he was the PM.
