In the midst of increasing diseases, patients have to resort to major operations. But now with the coming new technologies, there have been many changes in the health sector as well. is one of these robotic surgeryIn which even the biggest surgery becomes normal. Let us tell you that robotic systems can be used in all major operations including urology, general surgery, gynaecology, thoracic, cardiac, head and neck. Let’s know about this surgery.
The biggest advantage of this surgery is that if robotic surgery is done in patients suffering from cancer and kidney, then there is a significant reduction in the death rate. In robotic system, 7 degree of freedom, 3D image and better surgery can be done easily with more precision. Along with this, a very small cut is applied to the surgical area.
What is the cost of robotic surgery?
In India, surgery is being done using robotic system for about ten years, but only a few patients are getting its benefit. Due to being more expensive, this technology is still out of reach of many people. Its use in India has been very less. To meet this deficiency in the country, a company named SS Innovation of India has geared up.
Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, founder of SSI Innovation, says that after this initiative, now patients of private and government hospitals of the country will get the benefit of robotics surgery system at very affordable prices. Dr. Sudhir claims that the future of robotics surgery in India is bright.
For the first time in India, a robotic system has been developed under Atmanirbhar Bharat. Which is cheaper than the existing foreign robotics system. At present, the surgical robotic system of foreign companies is available for around Rs 16 crores, but the indigenous robotics surgery system will be available for just four to five crores.
Surgery instruments have been installed at these places
Robotic surgery system recently launched in Delhi Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute was established in SSI has installed another system at Sanjivani CBCC USA Cancer Hospital, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
