More than 200 personnel are carrying out the search and rescue operation on the spot. 60 fire brigade personnel are also present at the spot. No information has yet been given regarding the cause of the fire and how many employees of the company were killed in the accident. However, laxity in security measures has become common in China due to increased competition and corruption. A massive explosion in 2015 at a chemical warehouse in the northern port city of Tianjin killed 173 people. Most of the dead were firefighters and police officers.
